Employee CTC Break-up

How to use Employee CTC Break-up in Payroll: access, working steps, fields, related records and troubleshooting.

Purpose and access

Maintain salary components, structures and assignments, then prepare payroll for the selected period. Review attendance and leave effects, deductions and employee details before submission and payment. Payroll access is private.

This page is a report in Human Resources → Payroll. Use the link above to open the configured destination; permissions are checked by the destination service.

ERP links open in a new tab. Sign in with your own account; record visibility, actions and approval authority follow your assigned permissions. Screens can differ by company and configuration.

Run and interpret the report

Report implementation: Script Report. Source record type: Salary Slip.

  1. Open the report and inspect its actual filter controls.
  2. Select the company, date range and other required filters shown on that report. Filter requirements differ between reports.
  3. Run or refresh the report. Confirm the period and filters before comparing totals.
  4. Follow source-record links where available and verify whether drafts, submitted records, cancellations and opening balances are included.
  5. Export only when your role permits it and the recipient is authorized to receive the information.

Before comparing results

Compare the same company, period, currency and dimensions. Check whether the report measures a current balance, activity during a period, a transaction count or an ageing position. A report result does not authorize a change to a source record.

Troubleshooting

  • Not permitted: verify the account, role and source-document permission. Do not share an administrator login.
  • Missing record or address: inspect the relevant Link or Dynamic Link fields; a matching title alone does not establish a relationship.
  • Cannot save or change status: review required fields, read-only values, document status and the configured approval transition.
  • Unexpected report or portal result: review company/date filters, source-document submission and the approved party or Employee link.
