Configure users and stakeholder access

Create or open User, confirm the enabled state and select the appropriate System User or Website User type.

Before you start

Configure the company, users, workflows, custom fields, printing, communications and integrations. Administrative changes affect other users and should be tested in staging before production deployment.

ERP links open in a new tab. Sign in with your own account; record visibility, actions and approval authority follow your assigned permissions. Screens can differ by company and configuration.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Create or open User, confirm the enabled state and select the appropriate System User or Website User type.
  2. Assign only the roles needed for the person’s duties. Use the relevant registration approval or Employee User ID link for stakeholder access.
  3. Test a permitted record and a denied record with the intended role profile.
  4. Review access after role changes and employment or stakeholder status changes.

Check the result

Return to the saved record or relevant list and verify the intended values, links and status. Check the role-restricted portal or report when it is part of this task. A successful save, approval, submission and external payment are different events.

Troubleshooting

Creating a login does not automatically authorize customer, supplier or employee data. Use the corresponding verified party relationship.

If the task is blocked, record the page name, operation, error text and time. Contact Support through an authorized channel. Remove passwords and unnecessary personal information from screenshots.
