Block a room for planned maintenance

Step 1

Create a Room Block. Select Property and Room. Enter the start and exclusive end date, and record the maintenance reason.

Step 2

Save with Status Active. A block overlapping a Reserved or Checked In stay is rejected. Resolve the existing booking before blocking its dates.

Step 3

Review the block in the booking schedule. New overlapping reservations are rejected.

Step 4

When work is complete, change the block to Cancelled. Check the room’s independent maintenance and housekeeping status before check-in.
