Supply Chain screenshot trial
Choose the illustrated Supplier setup or Purchase-to-receipt walkthrough below.
The screenshot-led trial
Follow a real staging demonstration with one large screenshot at a time. Every step includes its action, example values, expected result and expected ERP URL. Numbered markers and a cursor show the click target. Use Next / Previous or the step selector; open a screenshot at full size when needed.
1. Supplier and linked billing address
Create the master, select directory locations and verify the Supplier relationship.
↗27 illustrated steps2. Purchase through quality and goods receipt
Create the order, inspect the item, receive it and verify stock posting.
↗Trial scope
This first review sample covers supplier setup and the purchase-to-receipt process, including its required quality inspection. It is not a claim that every Supply Chain page already has a screenshot-led tutorial. Existing module/page references remain available while the illustrated format is reviewed and expanded.

Inventory
Use stock transactions to record receipts, issues, transfers and reconciliation. Confirm warehouses, units, batches and serial numbers before submission. Use the stock ledger to investigate movements rather than editing an item to simulate stock.
↗Module guideSerials & Batches
Use serial numbers and batches for traceability where enabled on the item. Record identifiers through the permitted stock document and its serial/batch controls. Review movement history and expiry information before issuing stock.
↗Module guideFederal Logistics Codes
Maintain NSN-related references and fixed code lists for federal supply classes, units, demilitarization and other logistics attributes. The reference fields support identification; they are not a live FED LOG entitlement or automatic catalogue feed.
↗Module guideItems & Categories
Create items with their identifiers, units and applicable stock settings. Choose classification through the category hierarchy. Keep UNSPSC item groups and supplier categories consistent with the products and services being traded.
↗Module guideItem Prices
Store the item, price list, rate, currency and applicable validity information. Compare buying and selling price lists carefully. A new Item Price should be checked in an actual draft quotation or order before relying on it.
↗Module guidePurchasing
Start with a material requirement, request supplier quotations, compare responses, issue a purchase order and receive the delivery. Record the purchase invoice and payment in Finance & Accounting after the appropriate checks.
↗Module guideBarcode & QR Scanning
Use the item barcode field or the NexCom scanning work area to resolve an identifier to an ERP item. Confirm the result, warehouse and quantity before completing the stock or commercial transaction.
↗Module guideSubcontracting
Define the subcontracting requirement, required materials and the supplier service. Use the configured subcontracting order, delivery and receipt records to account for material supplied and goods returned.
↗Module guideSuppliers
Create the Supplier master and associate contacts, addresses and supply categories. Review vendor registrations separately; creating the master does not grant a portal login access to purchasing documents.
↗Module guideWarehouses
Build a warehouse tree that reflects physical or operational locations. Group warehouses organize the tree; transaction warehouses hold stock. Check the company and parent warehouse before creating a new location.
↗Module guideSupplier Portal
Suppliers can review the opportunities and documents their approved account is permitted to access. Supply-category selection follows the chained hierarchy. Support and order enquiries link to Helpdesk tickets.
