Step-by-step instructions

  1. Sign in to Academy with an account that has Author access.
  2. Open Authoring and create the course or learning resource. Add the title, description and intended audience.
  3. Build the course structure and learning content, then add assessments and access/completion settings as required.
  4. Preview the course as a learner and test the assessment and certificate configuration. Publish when ready and assign the intended audience.

Check the result

Return to the saved record or relevant list and verify the intended values, links and status. Check the role-restricted portal or report when it is part of this task. A successful save, approval, submission and external payment are different events.

Troubleshooting

An Author can create learning content without being a full Academy administrator. Learner access and course ownership must still be configured.

If the task is blocked, record the page name, operation, error text and time. Contact Support through an authorized channel. Remove passwords and unnecessary personal information from screenshots.
